VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, CALIF. - The logo of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is affixed to the side of the Boeing Delta II rocket that will launch the NOAA-N rocket. Launch is currently scheduled for no earlier than May 11, 2005. NOAA-N is the fourth in the series of support dedicated microwave instruments for the generation of temperature, moisture, surface, and hydrological products in cloudy regions where visible and infrared (IR) instruments have decreased capability.
