KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. - The STS-121 crew strides out of the Operations and Checkout Building after suiting up for launch today on Space Shuttle Discovery. On the left column from back to front are Mission Specialists Thomas Reiter, Stephanie Wilson and Lisa Nowak, and Pilot Mark Kelly. On the right column from back to front are Mission Specialists Piers Sellers and Michael Fossum, with Commander Steven Lindsey leading the way. The launch is the 115th shuttle flight and the 18th U.S. flight to the International Space Station. During the 12-day mission, the STS-121 crew will test new equipment and procedures to improve shuttle safety, as well as deliver supplies and make repairs to the International Space Station.
