CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. ---  In Orbiter Processing Facility Bay 3 at NASA's Kennedy Space Center, space shuttle Discovery's payload bay door at right is nearly closed.  Below the door is the shuttle's robotic arm.  Discovery is the designated vehicle on the STS-124 mission to the International Space Station.  On the mission, the shuttle will transport the Kibo Japanese Experiment Module - Pressurized Module and the Japanese Remote Manipulator System. The payload will be installed at the launch pad.
