CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – At Port Canaveral in Florida, the Atlas V first stage booster for NASA's Radiation Belt Storm Probes mission waits to be offloaded from United Launch Alliance's Delta Mariner barge. The Radiation Belt Storm Probes, or RBSP, mission will help us understand the sun’s influence on Earth and near-Earth space by studying the Earth’s radiation belts on various scales of space and time.
