CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – A view looking up from the ground level inside the Vehicle Assembly Building, or VAB, at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. High above is the 175-ton crane. Modifications are underway inside the VAB to prepare High Bay 3 for a new platform system. The modifications are part of a centerwide refurbishment initiative under the Ground Systems Development and Operations Program.
