(Unfueled Saturn V weighs 1/2 million pounds,) Rollout began at 12:30 p.m. EDT today and was completed at 7:46 p.m. after positioning the 12.5-million-pound load on support pedestals. The transporter carried the vehicle along the 3.5-mile crawlerway at an average speed of less than 1 mile per hour. The 363-foot-high space vehicle is to launch Apollo 11 astronauts Neil A. Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin E. Aldrin Jr. on the Nation's first manned lunar landing mission.
