Workers put up plywood barriers on the windows of the Operations Support Building (OSB) as part of a precautionary plan in the event that Hurricane Georges threatens Central Florida. In light of the unpredictable nature of hurricanes, the decision was made to minimize risk and provide protection to KSC personnel and to the Space Shuttle national asset.
