NASA's Dawn spacecraft looked northward toward the limb of Ceres to capture this scene, with Rao Crater (7 miles, 12 kilometers) at bottom. Dawn took this image on May 30, 2016, from its low-altitude mapping orbit, at a distance of about 240 miles (385 kilometers) above the surface.
