ISS023-E-040130 (13 May 2010) --- Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Soichi Noguchi, Expedition 23 flight engineer, holds a plant while posing for a photo near a window in the Kibo laboratory of the International Space Station. In its 11 ? years in space, the orbital outpost has been host to a variety of plant experiments.
