Cockrell, both spacecraft communicators (CAPCOM), monitor data at their consoles in the shuttle flight control room (WFCR) in Houston’s Mission Control Center (MCC). At the time this photo was taken the Space Shuttle Discovery was about to land at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, to mark the end of a successful mission to the International Space Station (ISS).
