Melroy, STS-112 pilot, wearing a training version of the full-pressure launch and entry suit, lowers herself from a simulated shuttle in trouble during an emergency egress training session. This type training takes place in the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility at the Johnson Space Center (JSC).
