CARMEn observes how spaceflight affects the growth of a culture of two species of bacteria. SPOCS Project Co-Lead Swati Ravi is pictured in the Columbia University Dietrich Biological Shape and Pattern Formation Lab with prepared diluted bacterial colonies of P. aeruginosa and S. aureus.
