Examples of astronomical images of protoplanetary disks, phenomena that may be better understood via Laplace testing. Laplace studies two phenomena: the evolution and growth of dust aggregates in proto-planetary disks and the fundamental aspects of gas and particle transport phenomena in dust clouds. Laplace allows particles to move independent of their size and charge at uniform speed through the field of view of the microscope.
