Massimino, both STS-109 mission specialists, wearing the liquid cooling and ventilation garment that complements the Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) space suit, are photographed on the mid deck of the Space Shuttle Columbia. Also pictured are astronauts John M. Grunsfeld (right) and Richard M. Linnehan, payload commander and mission specialist, respectively. The two teams were preparing for one of the five scheduled space walks for the mission.
