KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. - During an All Hands Meeting, Center Director Jim Kennedy surprised attendees and viewers with a live uplink to NASA Administrator Sean O’Keefe (on screen). The Administrator expressed his pride in and appreciation for Center employees and the work they do. Most of the meeting dwelt on the 2006 NASA budget and its implications for the Center. NASA Administrator Sean O’Keefe presented on Tuesday the Administration's fiscal year 2006 budget proposal and its relevance to the Vision for Space Exploration.

The purpose of the meeting was for employees to gain further insight into the Agency’s Vision for Space Exploration and the direction cultural change will take at KSC in order to assume its role within this vision. Panel members included James W. Kennedy, KSC director; Jim Jennings, Deputy Associate Administrator for Institutions and Asset Management; Lynn Cline, Deputy Associate Administrator for Space Flight; Bob Sieck, former Director of Space Shuttle Processing at KSC; and Jim Wetherbee, astronaut and Technical Assistant to the Director of Safety and Mission Assurance at the Johnson Space Center.

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. - At an All Hands Meeting, Center Director Jim Kennedy talks to employees in the Training Auditorium about the Vision for Space Exploration and the Center’s role. He also talked about the NASA budget and its implications for the Center. NASA Administrator Sean O’Keefe presented on Feb. 8 the Administration's fiscal year 2006 budget proposal and its relevance to the Vision for Space Exploration.
