The engineering model of NASA's InSight lander — a replica used for test purposes — took an image of the actor Brad Pitt at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, on Sept. 6, 2019. Taken by the instrument deployment camera on the replica's robotic arm in the Mars-like environment of JPL's In-Situ Instrument Laboratory, the picture has been white-balanced to remove the orange-red tint of the Mars lights in the room. In a Mars-like environment at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the fish-eye camera aboard the engineering model of NASA's InSight lander snapped this image of the actor Brad Pitt on Sept. 6, 2019. This picture, which has been white-balanced to remove the orange-red tint of the Mars lights in the room, was taken by the instrument context camera, bolted to the deck of the lander model.
