The three were part of a group of employees who rode out Hurricane Katrina at the facility and helped protect NASA's rocket engine test complex.

NASA's John C. Stennis Space Center Director Patrick Scheuermann and astronaut Steve Robinson stand with recipients of the 2010 Silver Snoopy awards following a June 23 ceremony.
