ISS040-E-045605 (7 July 2014) --- The International Space Station, including these two temporarily docked Russian spacecraft, made more than one pass near Typhoon Neoguri on July 7, and Expedition 40 Flight Engineers Reid Wiseman of NASA and Alexander Gerst of the European Space Agency captured its startling dimensions in a day-long series of still photos. In a tweet later in the day, Gerst marveled that even with a fish-eye lens he couldn't capture the whole storm. A 28mm focal length was used for a small sequence of oblique pictures such as this one. The picture was taken at 06:57:53 GMT on July 7, 2014.

Scott tweeted this comment and clue: "#SpaceGeo! A serpent is known for deceptive traits, but don’t let this snake pull the wool over your eyes. Name it!” Congratulations to @splinesmith for correctly identifying this image first, : #BighornRiver Montana/Wyoming named in 1805 for Bighorn sheep along its banks. ISS042E325633 (03/11/2015) --- The day before three of his colleagues on the International Space Station were to return to Earth in a Soyuz rocket US NASA astronaut Terry Virts wished all well but gave birthday wishes before they left to Flight Engineer cosmonaut Alexander Samokutyaev with this tweeted message: "с днём рождения Саша- Happy Birthday Sasha!"!

ISS043E284928 (06/04/215) --- NASA astronaut Scott Kelly on the International Space Station captured this interesting image in the stations Cupola, the 360 degree observation area and remote control location for grappling and docking and undocking spacecraft. Scott tweeted this comment with the image on June, 4, 2015: "Often when I look out the window I think we should call it Planet Water instead of Earth. Sadly mostly saltwater".
