The Cupola contains the primary control station for the station’s robotic arm, Canadarm2, which the crew use to capture visiting spacecraft like SpaceX’s Dragon and Orbital ATK’s Cygnus. The specialized windows also provide one of the best vantage points on station for Earth study and photography.

These laboratory freezers are used to maintain experiment samples at ultra-cold temperatures throughout a mission.
