CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – John Glenn in flight suit prior to MA-6 launch at Cape Canaveral, Fla. He is relaxing on his contour couch in Hangar S early Feb. 20, 1962. Glanced over his flight maps in a last-minute check before leaving for his Friendship 7 space capsule and an orbital flight of the Earth.
