Handa Island, Scotland

Every spring almost 100,000 seabirds come to the small island of Handa, off Scotland's northwest coast. A short ferry ride takes visitors to one of the largest breeding colonies in Europe. Species include guillemots, great skuas, razorbills and puffins.
