The Artemis II astronauts are cheered by the crowd on Saturn Causeway as they make their way to the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket at Launch Complex 39B on April 1, 2026, at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Artemis II is the first crewed mission of the agency’s Artemis campaign.
