Orion STA PV4 Weld

Lockheed Martin technicians at Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, Louisiana, attach the pressure vessel barrel section to the aft bulkhead using friction stir welding on Aug. 2, 2016. This weld is performed on the Orion structural test article which will used in vibration, acoustic, and structural tests.
